The Integrity at Work (IAW) Programme is running a dedicated workshop for employers and managers to improve understanding of Ireland’s whistleblowing law and instil best-practice principles for dealing with disclosures.
The workshop will address the following questions:
- What are the duties of employers under the amended Protected Disclosures legislation?
- How will employers be required to respond to and manage reports/disclosures?
- What support and resources are available to both workers and employers?
Participants will learn about the legal implications of the Protected Disclosures Act 2014 as amended by the Protected Disclosures (Amendment) Act 2022 (PDA) and resources available to workers and employers, such as the new statutory guidance on the PDA and Transparency International Ireland’s (TI Ireland) guidance on speaking up safely.
If you have any queries about the workshop or about membership of the Integrity at Work programme please contact, Dr Freda Grealy, IAW Programme Manager at events@transparency.ie
