The Integrity at Work (IAW) Programme is running a dedicated workshop for Irish charities to improve understanding of Ireland’s whistleblowing law and instil best practice principles for dealing with disclosures.

The workshop will address the following questions:
- What are the duties of Irish charities under the amended Protected Disclosures legislation?
- How will Irish charities be required to respond to and manage reports/disclosures?
- What support and resources are available to both workers and employers?
Participants will learn about the legal implications of Protected Disclosures Act 2014 as amended by the Protected Disclosures (Amendment) Act 2022 (PDA) and resources available to workers and employers such the new statutory guidance on the PDA and Transparency International Ireland’s guidance on speaking up safely.

Time & Location
The online workshop will take place on Tuesday 25 March from 9:30 – 12:30 and will be administered using Zoom. An invitation will be sent to all participants one day before the workshop is due to take place.
