Transparency International (TI) Ireland has developed guidance on whistleblowing for workers and employers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The guidance includes support and resources for anyone looking to report wrongdoing, ethical misconduct or health and safety risks in the workplace.
Speak Up Safely Guide
The Speak up Safely Guide (updated in 2019) is aimed at helping workers understand Ireland’s main whistleblowing legislation, the Protected Disclosures Act 2014. The guide also shares practical tips on blowing the whistle safely. Speak Up Safely has been written using TI Ireland’s experience of the Speak Up Helpline for whistleblowers since 2011.
