The EU Whistleblowing Directive will be transposed into Irish law by December 2021.
Transparency International Ireland shared its views with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform as part of a submission to a public consultation on the transposition of the Directive.
The submission responds to ten questions posed by the Department in respect of possible options for transposition and includes additional recommendations to address existing shortcomings in the Protected Disclosures Act 2014.
